Invalid traffic policy
Clear rules for what counts toward earnings — without publishing detection details that would help abuse.

1. Purpose
Publishers send traffic to lockers expecting fair measurement and honest payouts. Advertisers and networks only pay for completions that meet their quality standards. This page explains how KiwiLock thinks about invalid or ineligible activity, why dashboard numbers may differ from raw visits, and how you can ask for a review.
We do not publish exact fraud scores, device fingerprints, or proprietary thresholds. Revealing those details would make the platform easier to game and less fair for everyone.
2. Raw visits versus eligible activity
A locker page load is not automatically a monetized view. KiwiLock and our partners may exclude activity that is incomplete, repeated, automated, or otherwise ineligible under network or platform rules.
In practice, publishers should expect differences between:
- Total page loads or clicks they observe elsewhere
- Activity KiwiLock records as eligible for analytics
- Completions that convert and credit earnings
- Finalized balances after holds, reversals, or adjustments
Estimated or early figures can change when a network reverses a conversion or when a review finds ineligible traffic.
3. Categories of invalid or ineligible activity
Examples of activity that may be limited, unpaid, or adjusted:
- Automated or bot traffic — scripts, headless browsers, or non-human patterns.
- Repeated activity from the same source — excessive retries from the same IP or visitor within a short window.
- Suspicious device or session behavior — abnormal completion timing or environment signals.
- VPN, proxy, or datacenter traffic — when offers or platform rules disallow it. Not every VPN user is treated as fraudulent by default; eligibility depends on context and partner requirements.
- Incentivized abuse — paying people to complete tasks in ways that violate network or KiwiLock rules.
- Self-completions — a publisher or their agents completing their own lockers to inflate earnings.
- Manipulated or incomplete tasks — bypassing steps, spoofing completions, or abandoning required actions.
- Unsupported locations — countries or regions an offer does not accept.
- Advertiser-rejected conversions — completions later declined by the network or advertiser.
- Abnormal click or completion patterns — spikes or ratios that are inconsistent with genuine user behavior.
- Exploitation attempts — trying to bypass unlocks, postbacks, or anti-abuse controls.
4. How reviews work
KiwiLock may apply automated filters, partner feedback, and manual review. Outcomes can include unpaid activity, delayed clearance, balance adjustments, or account limits. When we adjust earnings, we aim to record a general reason publishers can understand — without exposing confidential detection methods.
5. Appeals
If you believe activity was classified incorrectly, contact support@kiwilock.com with your username, date range, locker links, and a short explanation. A structured in-app appeals flow is planned; until then, email support is the official channel. Reference IDs from support make follow-up easier.
